Shipping
Everything is packed by hand here on the farm in Gainesville, Florida.
What it costs
- Free on orders of $45 and over.
- $7 flat on orders under that, however many jars are in the box.
- Free on every subscription delivery, whatever the size.
Both sizes of honey are $45 or more, so honey always travels free — the postage has been built into the price of a jar from the beginning. The flat rate exists so that a single $3 floating star can be posted without costing the farm money to send.
Where we post to
The contiguous United States — the lower 48. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa or the Northern Mariana Islands, and the checkout will tell you so rather than take your money and disappoint you later. No international shipping yet.
Who carries it
USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground, whichever is cheaper for your parcel on the day it is packed. We do not add a handling charge on top: what you pay is what the postage costs, or nothing at all above $45.
When it goes
Jars are filled, boxed and labelled by hand between everything else a working apiary needs, so we do not pretend to a same-day dispatch. What we do promise is that you will know: the moment your parcel is labelled, an email goes out with the carrier and the tracking number on it. If that email has not arrived and you are wondering, ask us — we would rather answer than have you wait in silence.
If something goes wrong on the way
Glass and heat both do what they do. If a jar arrives broken, or the parcel does not arrive at all, that is ours to fix — see returns and refunds.
