Poured from the wax our bees made this season. No paraffin, ever.
Classic pillar in pure beeswax — clean golden flame, honey-sweet scent.
Honeycomb-faceted pillar — the hive, cast in its own wax.
A thin-walled beeswax shell ribbed from top to bottom. Set a tea light inside and the flame throws every flute into relief — the shell warms and gives off the scent of the wax without melting away.
Beeswax carved in overlapping teardrop scales, rising to a point. Lit from inside by a tea light, the whole shell glows amber and scents the room, and the carving stays exactly as it was.
An open beeswax cup cut with a lattice of facets. The plainest of the four by daylight, and the liveliest once a tea light is inside.
A beeswax vessel with a bee pressed into its lid. Take the lid off, stand a tea light in it, and it glows from within and gives off the aroma of the beeswax — the wax itself never melts. Lid on, it is a keepsake box.
The old straw beehive, cast in our own wax — coiled tiers and a little arched doorway at the foot. One to keep by the sink, or a boxful for the table.
A five-pointed beeswax star that floats. Set a few adrift in a bowl of water and let them turn — which is why they come by the box as well as one at a time.
A beeswax bloom that floats and burns from the centre. Photograph coming from the farm.
A tall, slim taper drawn in pure beeswax — dripless, and it burns down slowly with a warm, steady flame. Singly, or four in a box for the table.
Pure beeswax by the block — for makers, balms and wood care. A small 1½ oz pair or a ½ lb ingot.
A boxed row of pure beeswax tea lights, sized for the luminaries. None on the shelf just now — write to us and we will tell you when the next batch is poured.
The rest of what the season gives us.
Pure hive propolis, small batch — the resin the bees seal their hive with, scraped straight from the frames. Sold by weight.
